### What is your Cancellation Policy?

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their [Account Balance](https://meowtel.com/help-faq/customer/payments?question=26#26) if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.  
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.  
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.  
If the Meet & Greet isn't the right fit, or if you have any concerns during the reservation, please call [1-844-636-9835](tel:+18446369835) so we can help you re-book with a new sitter.

### What is a Meet & Greet?

After you put in a reservation request, you may start setting up your Meet & Greet by chatting with your sitter via the [Meowtel Inbox](https://meowtel.com/chat) or clicking the **Chat with Sitter** button in your [Reservations](https://meowtel.com/account/reservations) screen. We recommend proposing 2-3 time slots that will work for you so your sitter can quickly cross-check their calendar.

The Meet & Greet is typically a 15-30 minute meeting with your sitter to help you, your cats, and your sitter get acquainted with each other. It is the best way to confirm your sitter will be the purrfect fit and establish trust between both parties before the reservation takes place.

At the Meet & Greet, please provide your sitter with a copy of your key(s) so they do not have to make another trip to your home to pick it up.

**If the Meet & Greet isn't the right fit, just let us know, and we will cancel your reservation and issue a full refund back to your original payment method.**

### How do I leave a review for my sitter?

When the reservation ends, go to your [My Reservations](https://meowtel.com/account/reservations) screen, click on "Details" on the reservation card, and then, click the button that says "Leave Sitter Review".

### How do I tip my sitter?

When the reservation ends, go to your [My Reservations](https://meowtel.com/account/reservations) screen, click on "Details" on the reservation card, and then, click the button that says "Send Sitter a Tip" and choose the desired amount you would like to tip your sitter. Your sitter always keeps 100% of the tip!

### How can I become a cat sitter?

Getting started is easy and free!

**Follow these 3 steps:**

2. Tap "Become a Sitter" and follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your profile  
3. Once submitted, you'll undergo a background check and complete the onboarding steps before being activated on Meowtel
