## The registration process consists of 4 steps

Submissions are welcome from select cities and states across the U.S., and the platform is always expanding to new areas! Once registered, cat sitters can typically get their business up and running in about a week.

1. **Set up your Meowtel account**  
Signing up only takes a few minutes. You'll create your sitter listing to get your submission for the Meowtel marketplace started.

2. **Complete your sitter listing submission**  
This is your opportunity to personalize your sitter profile. Write your sitter bio, upload photos, and set your service area and rates.

3. **Third-party background check**  
Completing a background check is part of onboarding for those who want to be listed on the Meowtel marketplace.

4. **Get activated and start earning**  
Once your background check clears, you'll be activated on Meowtel. You can optionally add testimonials from past clients to strengthen your profile.
